Cost Share Options Available for Mobile Drip Irrigation
Mobile Drip Irrigation (MDI) is an innovative technology being introduced in the Columbia Basin. MDI has been shown to effectively reduce evaporation losses and improve saturation in the targeted root zone. A recent report from Kansas State University indicated that using MDI during the early stages of crop development led to a 35% reduction in evaporation from bare soil and crop canopies compared to traditional spray nozzle systems.

RFP: RCPP OGWRP At-Will Design Services
The Columbia Basin Conservation District (CBCD), a State of Washington governmental subdivision established under RCW 89.08, seeks to retain the services of a qualified consultant to conduct engineering design approval for the Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), primarily on Alternative Funding Arrangement (AFA) 3136 and 3084 projects funded via the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS). This consultant needs to be a registered Technical Service Provider (TSP) with NRCS.
